ORISONO was not founded in a meeting room. It grew from the desire of people who know film from the inside from the first light check to the final sound mix.

ORISONO. The Story

  1. Lucerne · Grimselweg 5

    2019

Two people. One sound studio. And the question: why aren't we doing this ourselves?

Alexander came from music sound engineer at Soundville, album productions, sets. Timothy from directing and cinematography he knew every angle of a shot. Both wanted the same thing: a vessel to carry forward the stories that moved them. As the new kids on the block. Without a net.

  2. Mid-lockdown

    2020

Too young for relief funds. Too stubborn to stop.

Started summer 2019. Spring 2020: lockdown. Every job cancelled, no Covid relief for a company that had only just begun. Soundville's infrastructure gave them access to what they needed. They kept shooting on projects, on ideas, on what ORISONO was meant to become.

  3. The first domino

    2021

Color of Heaven. Together with 89 Productions. The first proof.

A co-production with 89 Productions from Brunnen, the Swiss mountains, an international team. What followed could have been the script of a film: HBO Max, Netflix's Contigo Capitán as the local service unit. Every job opened the next door not through a pitch, but through the work.

  4. The network grows

    2022–2023

Inner Portrait. 249 million people saw what happens when a brand stops making ads.

Turkish Airlines, Refik Anadol, seven locations, Disney+, National Geographic, Hulu, Art Basel. The film ran where no classic commercial ever would. ORISONO had proven that branded entertainment isn't a compromise it's a genre of its own.

  5. Locarno. SXSW. Max Ophüls.

    2024

Sew Torn. And Sebastian brings a cinematographer's eye into production.

Sew Torn, directed by Freddy Macdonald, the Swiss Alps, 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix. The same year, Sebastian Klinger joins a cinematographer who knows how an image has to look to last. ORISONO is now the team it was always meant to become.

The team

We make things. Together.

One shared obsession with the magic that happens when a story becomes a film. All in it for the same reason.

Editor

Bianca Dudle

The edit decides whether a film breathes or stalls. That's the moment I feel most what cinema can do.
Director · Creative Producer

Diving into roles and worlds has been my greatest passion since childhood. When the camera rolls, the world stands still.

Natalie Grünig

Film connects people who have never met. That's exactly what my work is about creating those connections.

Alexander Stratigenas

Music, sound, story I connect everything you don't see but feel when a film truly works.
Producer

Timothy Ross

Numbers, timing, workflows I hold all the threads together so all the creativity can focus on the story.
DoP · Producer

Mick Vuillemier

I grew up on set. Organisation behind me, the perfect image ahead I create the workflows in which a good film can breathe freely.
Cinematographer · Producer

Sebastian Klinger

I recognise stories that work and translate them into images that last. Flexible in execution, uncompromising on quality.
