About the production
The documentary series CAPITANES DE AMÉRICA was commissioned by the global streaming service HBO Max (GAME OF THRONES, THE LAST OF US), which also acted as the production company. While much of these famous American soccer stars' lives played out in North and South America, Europe, with its historic importance for football, was also a key location. That is how ORISONO joined the team to carry out the filming in Munich. Over several shooting days, including at the stadium of German record champions FC Bayern München, ORISONO captured honest emotions from football stars reminiscing about their careers.
