Yes. Our Zurich company, ORISONO Film GmbH, is based in the canton of Zurich at Wiesenstrasse 23, 8400 Winterthur. ORISONO operates through two companies: ORISONO GmbH (Lucerne) and ORISONO Film GmbH (Zurich).
Both, and more. Whether you call it service production, line production or a fixer, we are your single point of contact from first call to final delivery. We coordinate permits, locations, crew, equipment, transport and insurance.
In the City of Zurich you need a permit if the shoot lasts longer than one hour, infrastructure is set up, or more than five people are involved. A single camera, tripod and handheld reflector under an hour needs no permit. Filming on private property always requires the owner's permission.
Apply at least 4 weeks ahead. Road closures need 20 working days' notice and parking reservations 7 working days. Straightforward commercial permits typically clear in about 10 business days.
Our crew pool mobilises within 48 hours. Larger teams across several departments take longer, and we tell you the realistic timeline in the first call.
It depends on the scale of the production, the locations and the size of the crew. Swiss departments are compact and roles less rigidly split than in the US or UK, so the same scene often needs a smaller crew. We send a transparent quote after the first call.
Zurich offers a production incentive of up to CHF 30,000 for international productions with at least CHF 500,000 of qualifying Zurich spend, and a scouting incentive of up to CHF 6,000.
Yes, with an advance permit. Filming costs start from CHF 405 for the first hour, apply at least 4 weeks ahead (2 weeks for stills), and airside access requires a paid escort and is granted only in exceptional cases.
Yes, under the EU/EASA rules that Switzerland applies. Drones of 250 g or more, or with a camera, must be registered, carry at least CHF 1 million liability insurance and stay below 120 m in line of sight. Zones near airports are restricted, and the ground footprint may need a separate municipal permit.
Our team works in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. No interpreter needed on set.
Yes. Editing, grading and Dolby Atmos mixing happen at our own facility in Lucerne, 41 minutes from Zurich by train.
Yes. With our second location in Lucerne we cover all of Switzerland, from the Alps to Ticino.
Shooting elsewhere too? See our service production in Switzerland.
Dates, locations, crew size: whatever you already know. We come back with a realistic plan.
